Andy Well E 51/2134
The Andy Well North Project straddles across the Yilgarn Craton and Proterozoic Yerrida Basin. The tenement is 11 km north of the high grade Andy Well Gold Mine hosted in the Meekatharra- Wyloo Greenstone Belt. The Andy Well Deposit is a series of high grade mineralised shear zones within basalt and dolerite. The greenstone sequence hosting the Andy Well Deposits trends into the tenement and has had minimal testing. Close spaced magnetics’ would be needed to map the mineralised shear zones which would allow for targeted RC or DDH drill testing. The northern half of the tenement covers the Yerrida Basin sediments and is prospective for Thundana style copper and gold mineralisation.
Located near the Andy Well Gold Mine, which historically produced 300,000 oz of gold at an average grade of 8 g/t Au.
The tenement straddles the Archean Yilgarn Craton and the Proterozoic Yerrida Basins.
Historical drilling identified greenstones beneath 12–50 m of cover but returned low-level gold anomalies (10–20 ppb Au).
Soil sampling defined minor gold anomalies, with the best rock chip sample at 2.2 ppb Au.
Potential for undiscovered mineralization, particularly in greenstone sequences.
Historical exploration has been limited to reconnaissance drilling; systematic targeting has not been conducted.
Conduct a detailed aircore drilling program to map the greenstone sequence and identify gold anomalies.
Focus on the SW corner anomaly and the Lizzies Joy alluvial patch to locate potential bedrock sources of gold.
